HOWICK TENNIS CLUB'S VETERAN SECTION (55 + YEARS)
This popular section of Howick Tennis Club was started by Ans Pynappel in 1989.
Initially it consisted of Senior Midweek Ladies playing Thursday mornings.
The membership now caters for Both Ladies and Gentlemen playing 1 or 2 sessions per week (Depending on whether they have Full Membership or Veteran Membership of the Howick Tennis Club)
All-Season play is held on Tuesday afternoons from 1pm to 3pm and on Thursday mornings from 9am til 12 noon.
Fun tournaments are organised each Spring (September), Christmas (December), Easter (March/April) and Winter (June). Play is followed by a prize-giving, a raffle and a very social luncheon (Please bring a plate)
